The hopper is okay but it’s not what I thought. The picture gives the illusion that you can adjust the hopper by removing each of the three sections (like my friend’s hopper). In fact, they’re all one piece. So if you want a shorter hopper, you’d have to cut it to that size.Overally, it does its job though and holds around 40-50 balls I’d say.

Not a bad gun. Out of the box had NO problems with ball breakage, functionally sound and worked great. Adjustable trigger for stop and position was nice so you can get your trigger closer for a “sensitive” feel to the trigger. Semi worked fine, burst will be nice (for fields that allow it), and auto was decent. I did, however, find that the auto needs some adjustment. It ran at a rate faster than the gun could feed. This may also be due to the fact that my hopper (Halo) only feeds up to 15bps. I also like the fact of the collapsable stock, though I may switch for something more functional. This collapses with a screw that seats into recesses in the slide. I think this could wear over time a bit and leave a loose stock; especially under some intense play. Being that most tend to upgrade almost EVERYTHING on their beloved guns, this would be a good upgrade later. I have noticed that the stock barrel puts out a rather random/loose pattern with the ball spinning to either side; at about 30 feet the ball spreads a pattern of about 18″ wide. This is enough to hit your target, though, and a barrel upgrade is recommended. I couldn’t give it a “5″ rating due to its out-of-box inacurracy with a decent looking barrel. I figured it would be a little tighter on pattern. Still, I almost COULD give it a “5″ rating. I would recommend this gun. Hopefully this helps ya! Like this gun. Update:Took to a tournament and found that I needed the spring cut (did this myself) to make it adjust down to field speeds (would not go below 310 fps). Cut spring forward of velocity adjustment screw…approximately 1/8th inch off and would adjust down. Gun fed REALLY well with electronic on semi, burst had issues with third ball, and auto was having issues recocking the gun after about 5+ shots. Semi could pull a decent fire rate and the gun worked well the entire tournament. Great gun! UPGRADE BARREL!

This barrel is one of the smoothest barrels i ever played with.I have a Viewloader which takes spider threads so i chose to buy this barrel.Incredible let me tell you guys, and the barrel is packed tightly so the balls dont move around when its in the barrel.Thats one of the reasons its acurrate.It should have breathing holes for it to sprial but oh well this is a good barrel.GET IT.

This little kit is not what i was thinkning when iI bought it, but it does have most of the little parts that seem to get lost when you take a 98 apart. I painted my 98 camo and lost some parts this little kit saved me from having to loose out on my mistakes. I did think it came with more parts, but overall a good little kit to keep around just in case.

I really enjoyed this pad.The only problem I had was with the hand cover,that literally “unsew” with slightly streching and little use.Well.I got only disapointed with that.The extra protection though is really confortable and easy to wash.Recommend it

Firstly, let me say that the staff at PB4LESS are exceptionally helpful. If you need any other items with your order goto their website and send them an e-mail before you order.They seem to have most things (which may not be listed)and can provide help and advice. I live in Europe and was slightly worried about delivery but everything went smoothly – about 8 days to France which is renown for having slow customs clearance.

Due to inability to make a decission I have a kingman MR3 aswell as the A5 – I need to write a more complete MR3 A5 Stealth comparison review later when I’ve used them a bit more.

Initial views are : The MR3 (also sold by PB4LESS) with the addition of a J&J 14″ ceramic barrel is SUPERB and does 6 inch groupings at 25 metres – the standard barrel is far less accurate. The A5 kit here is easy enought to put together, took about 10 or 15 minutes- the included instuctions are clear and concise. The stock’s pretty tight to get in but not impossible. The flatline barrel hugely increases the range – though so far the accuracy isn’t as consistent as the MR3 with the J&J on – I think I need to try some seamless paintballs.

I was worried about the weight of the A5 after reading several reviews.It’s about the same as the MR3 – which in fairness is also pretty heavy – just to hold they feel at least half as heavy if not twice as heavy as a standard Pilot. Much of the weight on the A5 seems to be the flatline – the rest of the marker is reasonably light weight.

At present I’d say if you need range – the flatline is the way to go – though maybe an apex on an MR3 would give you the same performance.If you want accuracy – the MR3 with a j&j.The MR3 also has the advantage of electronic trigger as standard and is cheaper.Some reviews on the MR3 mention that the electronics aren’t covered perfectly by the cover – this is fixed my making sure the capacitor is seated in the grip correcly – then the grip sits flush.

Saying that the A5 seems nicely put together, is slightly less bulky than the MR3 and has the cyclone feed as standard….

Both markers have sights built in – neither are usable once you have a mask on.Out of curiosity I tried removing bits of mask a bit at a time to see how much you need to remove until you could comfortably use the sights (obviously you wouldn’t want to do this to a mask you would use)… in answer … all of it … the fact that the goggles protrude from the face means you can’t get in a suitable position to use the sights.If you need sights -which I’m not convinced you do (both markers seem to aim naturally)- then you’d need to put an offset sight rail on the A5 or a raised sight on the raised sight rail/handle on the MR3.

Both markers feel cumbersome and unnatural with the stock and a 20oz attached under the grip.Both markers feel superb once they have a remote installed. If anything the MR3 feels slightly more natural/ergonomic to hold out of the two as the forward grip on the A5 feels a little small.

Hope this answers a couple of questions and doesn’t raise more than it answers ….

Heavier than I expected it to be, it’s a solid magazine with a great feel to it. No room for extra ammo (It’s not a shake and load) so be sure to buy a few of them. Taping the magazines together makes you feel like a pro when you are able to reload quickly.

Review of TIPPMANN 98 Custom Paintball Power Pack (Black)

I was lucky enough to buy 1 of the last 2 Tippmann 98 Custom Power Packs here on Amazon.com for only [...]! The very next day, it went right back up to almost [...]. Retardedly, I ordered this with 2-Day Shipping, soit came out to [...]… I basically would have been better off buying this at the local Sports and Outdoors store, but I saved a few bucks on here.

The point is, this is an absolutly awisome gun! Tippmanns are fully customizable, IF you know everything about them. I’ve ordered more than [...] worth of upgrades for this gun;

Now this gun is able to take on Professional and Top Grade Paintball Markers out there today! There are SO MANY MORE upgrades you can go out and buy for the Tippmann 98 Custom (or with the Model 98, and A-5). They’re like Honda’s… ALOT of customizable features, for a cheap price, and that’ll last you a lifetime… but you have to take care of it. Oil and lube parts before using it, clean everything after using it, and protect everything when you’re not using it!

The only thing I don’t really like is the package it came with (9oz CO2 Tank, Tank Butt Plate, and Mask)… but there were no problems with them. They were great to use until I bought all my new gear. I was just hoping to get a 16oz or 20oz Tank with a better mask. But what this gun comes with won’t make you complain one bit!

I enjoy everything about this gun! DON’T RELY ON REVIEWS!!!
Go to a Paintball Store where you live, and test everythign out before you buy it! There’s plenty of people who will tell you this gun as awisome… but there’s also those idiots who say they don’t like it, but thats only because they treat thier gun like [...], and they don’t take care of it the way you’re supposed to! Either that, or they don’t know jack about Paintball Markers!

Go read a few more reviews, look for cheaper prices, and THEN make your decision. The cheapest you’ll find a Tippmann online with the Power Pack is on here on Amazon… unless you go to Ebay. But be careful with Ebay, you’ll never be too sure if you’re gun is NEW even though it may say it (it’s either stolen, or it’s garenteed NOT to be new, they just clean it and make it LOOK new!)

Review of Paintball Piranha GTI Plus Paintball Set

The Piranha GTI kit is great. I’ve shot about 250 Wal-Mart paintballs ( I plan to get better ones) through it. Comes with everything you need to play, just fill up the tank and buy some paintballs. It is a way better deal to buy the kit instead of just the gun. Really accurate. SUPER efficient too. Buy it.
